Estimation of Project Water Diversions from the Sacramento River

Highlights

The Tehama-Colusa Canal diverts water from the Sacramento River, but is prohibited from doing so for several months in early spring so that the endangered salmon run in the Sacramento River is not disturbed. ITRC is working with TCC Authority to develop prediction methods which will enable TCCA to request short-term diversions during this period.
