:: Short Courses Offered by ITRC ::

ITRC specializes in the development of high-quality training programs for agricultural irrigation and drainage, plus landscape irrigation. Dozens of courses are conducted annually, both on campus and off.  For a complete list of specific courses and dates, please visit our calendar.  Current short courses offered by ITRC include:

• Agricultural Irrigation System Evaluation  - June 16-20, 2008

• Irrigation District School of Irrigation   

• Designer/Manager School of Irrigation - August 6-22, 2008; December 15-17, 2008 

• Landscape Water Management  - August 14-20, 2008; December 15-17, 2008

• Pump Tester Training - Not currently offered.  For a similar alternative, try the Pumps I and II courses. 

Design and management aspects are covered on such diverse topics as:

• Canal Automation

• Row Crop Drip Irrigation

• Microspray Design

• Fertigation

• Surface Irrigation

ITRC also provides specialty training, including:

• Classes for support of the Certification Programs of The Irrigation Association.

• The "California Friendly Landscape Training Program" in Spanish throughout California

• On-Farm Irrigation

• Irrigation Districts - for Engineers, Managers, or Water Operators

• Other training courses tailor-made to fit specific needs
